He said that it was a great honor for The Daily Mail to sign accord of professional collaboration with Yunnan Daily Press Group as this move was expected to bring more knowledge for Pakistanis about the people and social culture of Yunnan province as earlier there was not much information available in Pakistan and the media had mainly been focusing on Beijing and Shanghai. “Earlier this year we signed a similar agreement with Guangzhou Daily Media Group in March at the eve of the First Pakistan-China Media Forum and now with Yunnan Daily Press Group. These moves would enable us to bring maximum information and updated knowledge about people of Guangdong Province and Yunnan Province apart from Beijing and Shanghai, asserted Mr. Makhdoom. He said that as a professional Editor, he was very optimistic that such agreements would contribute a lot to the success of mega projects like China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and One Belt-One Road. He was of the firm opinion the initiatives like agreement between The Daily Mail and Yunnan Daily Press Group were going to be very effective for the promotion and pushing of CPEC in coming years. He highly appreciated the high standards of journalism that Yunnan Daily Press Group was maintaining and thanked the management of Yunnan Group for sending a highly prestigious delegation of true professionals to Pakistan on The Daily Mail’s invitation to hold interviews over CPEC and One Belt-One Road. He said since the time was too short and it was the month of Ramadan much was left unexplored and untouched, said Mr. Makhdoom

In his remarks, the head of the Chinese delegation Mr. Wang Xufei, said that he was very much impressed by the arrangement, warmth and level of engagements, organized by The Daily Mail for their delegation. He said the way the delegation was received and treated in Pakistan; it was very much beyond the expectations of him and members of his delegation. “I and my delegation now have very clear perception as to why Pakistan and China are called iron Brothers and what is the actual depth and myth of China-Pakistan friendship. It is really the power of people behind this relation of exemplary friendship and so was proved by The Daily Mail and its team and Editor-in-Chief and all the Pakistanis that we interacted with during our visit. He said that from a waiter of the hotel up to the federal Minister and from a police constable to the Chief of Police, every Pakistani made us  feel like VVIPs and very warmly welcomed  and honored gusts,” said Mr. Wang. A week long celebrations beginning today aimed at celebrating beauty beyond shades, shapes & sizes, this was stated by the Convener “Dark is Divine”, Ms. Fatima Lodhi

Will talking to a media in Islamabad on other day. She said that the Special awareness drives are going to take place in more than 25 countries throughout the week in which more than 35 Rotaract clubs are participating to generate a mass awareness and to redefine the unrealistic standards of Beauty through positive messages regarding body Image. Further Ms. Fatima Lodhi stated that there will be two fundamental sessions via “Dark is Divine Talk Radio” (Worldwide) in which a Lebanese Therapist/ Healer, Ms. Abeer will be talking about Self-Acceptance, along with Ms. Gul Qaiser, a renowned Cosmetic Physician and Dermatologist trained from Australia, who will be shedding light upon the topic of Redefining Beauty. The Convener “Dark is Divine”, Ms. Fatima Lodhi stated that “Redefining Beauty” is one of the thematic areas  of “Dark is Divine”, that aims to redefine the unrealistic standards of “Beauty” which have been set by the Society and propagated by the media in the forms of unfair advertisements. It has been witnessed globally, that the majority of girls, women, boys and men as well, don’t feel happy and are not satisfied with the Size, Shape of their bodies as well as the color of their skin, or somehow are being bullied on the basis of their looks and are living a life of inferiority complex, where they view themselves from other’s perspective and are not comfortable in their own skin. ‘’Such complexes lead to poor health decisions, no self-confidence, low self-esteem and feelings of depression & anxiety ‘she added. Ms. Lodhi further quotes that being a Rotaractor, she was recently interviewed by an international magazine “The Rotarian” for her work under “Dark is Divine” and soon after the interview she was contacted by several Rotaract clubs for having a collaborative event regarding Redefining Beauty, therefore she along with Mr. Zahid, E.D “Dark is Divine” and Rotaractor Nayela Naviz are holding these week long activities in collaboration with more than 35 Rotaract clubs ‘she added. Ms. Lodhi says that this event wouldn’t have been taking place on such a large scale without the support of Rotractors. She ends with a strong message that “Beauty comes in no predefined Shade, shape or Size”. Furthermore Mr. Zahid, E.D “Dark is Divine quotes that it’s for the first time, not only in the history of Pakistan, but Asia that an international week of redefining beauty is being celebrated, that too on such a large scale across the globe and it will help in generating more awareness and help teach the masses to recognize their true worth and understand that “Everyone is Beautiful”.Rtr. Ms.Nayela adds that such events with powerful messages, are the dire need of the time.
