The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) launched the Cool & Cool presents Haier Q8 T-20 Cup 2015-16 with great fanfare here at the Pindi Cricket Stadium by unveiling the event logo and introducing the bevy of tournament and team sponsors in the presence of former cricketers, print and electronic media and the Board’s upper tier management.The qualifying round of the event commences on Sept. 1 and runs up to Sept. 5, 2015. Eight Teams will participate in qualifying round. The Winner of both semi-finals of qualifying round shall make it to the main round.
Twelve teams will contest for Cool & Cool Presents Haier Mobile T20 CUP 2015-2016 in the main tournament. The main tournament will commence on Sept. 8 and its semifinals will be played on Sept 14 and the final will take place on Sept. 15.

ISLAMABAD, (By;Asghar Ali Mubarak): The Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif

Sunday said that the United States was an important partner of Pakistan in all areas especially in the spheres of economy, defense and counter-terrorism. He said that Pakistan looked at its relations with the US ‘as a partnership’ which was in the interest of the two countries, the region and the world. The Prime Minister was talking to US National Security Adviser Dr. Susan Rice who called on him, said a PM Office press release. She was accompanied by Senior Director for South Asian Affairs at the US National Security Council Dr. Peter Lavoy and US ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson. The meeting focused on matters of bilateral interest and the future of Pakistan-US relations. The situation in the region also came under discussion. The Prime Minister said that he was looking forward to his visit to the US in October this year as an opportunity to further strengthen the ties between the two countries. Dr. Rice underscored the importance of strong Pakistan-US relations. She noted the positive direction of ongoing cooperation between the two countries especially in the areas of defence, Economy and energy sectors. The US NSA also expressed deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by Pakistan in the efforts to root out terrorism and extremism and the success achieved so far. She expressed appreciation for the Prime Minister’s vision of a peaceful neighborhood.
